History

Pine Ridge was platted in the mid-1960s as one of Naples' earliest estate-zoned subdivisions, with home sites set on roughly one-acre parcels along the corridor between US-41 and Goodlette-Frank Road. Equestrian rights — historically one horse per 2.25 acres — were written into the original deeds and remain a defining characteristic of the neighborhood today, even as most residents no longer keep horses.

Character

A low-density, fully detached single-family neighborhood with the largest residential lots inside Naples city-adjacent geography. The streetscape mixes original 1960s and 1970s ranch and Florida vernacular homes with a steady wave of new-construction estates built on tear-down lots in the past decade.
