History
Pelican Bay was developed beginning in the late 1970s by WCI Communities on a 2,100-acre site north of Park Shore. The masterplan reserved approximately 88 acres of mangrove estuary along the Gulf as a conservation buffer, with a three-mile berm beach inside the preserve for residents and the on-site Ritz-Carlton, Naples.
Character
A guarded community of Gulf-front high-rise towers, mid-rise condominium villages, and inland single-family enclaves. The Pelican Bay Foundation manages shared infrastructure across the community, including the private beach, tram service, and two beachfront restaurants. New-construction estates in the inland sections are pushing well beyond $10M.
